The importance of recovery in ones training regime is a major factor that is often overlooked. At the Warrior Performance strength and conditioning centre we have a number of facilities to optimise your recovery and reduce soreness so that you can get the most out of your performance.

Recovery Room

Infrared Sauna – Increasing your core temperature for short burst is not only healthful, it can also dramatically improve performance. our sauna can be set up to 60 degrees celsius.

This is true whether it’s done in conjunction with your existing workout or as an entirely separate activity. Acclimating yourself to heat independent of aerobic physical activity through sauna use induces adaptations that reduce the later strain of your primary aerobic activity.

Hyperthermic conditioning improves your performance during endurance training activities by causing adaptations, such as improved cardiovascular and thermoregulatory mechanisms

Manual Therapy

Our Manual therapy treatment restores functional range of movement in the joints through tissue manipulation, using a combination of trigger point, fascial manipulation, myofascial, active and passive release techniques.

Our Therapists have provided professional sports massage treatments with athletes from many sports including – boxing, kickboxing, MMA, judo, powerlifting, strongman, bodybuilding, highland games, crossfit, triathlon, swimming, rugby league & union.

Treatments are 30-60min in duration, we suggest that once clients have been treated they go down stairs to the gym and use that new range of movement and to solidify the new movement pattern. Clients will also be given specific mobility drills to take away and work on.
