SUMMARY:Nobody Knows You're a Novice Comp - Feb 2018
DESCRIPTION:Novice – 3 Lift Powerlifting Competition \n  \nWhen – 11th February 2018 (Sunday) \n  \nWhat – This is an UN-Sanctioned event\, open to novice lifters interested in gaining experience in a powerlifting competition. Anybody can enter. Wrists wraps/knee wraps are allowed along with Normal Gym Clothing. \nYou do not need to be part of ANY Fed to compete in this event. \n  \nWhere – The event will be held at Warrior Performance.  Unit 1/59 Cawarra Rd\, Caringbah\, NSW\, 2229 \n  \nWeigh in – 24 hour weigh-in\nSaturday – 10am-3pm\nSunday – 8am-9am (Lifting starts at 9.30am sharp) \n  \nCost – $75 (Free for spectators) – We will cap the event at 50 lifters. \nRegistration\n1. Transfer comp fee $75 to – Shannon Green\, BSB – 082-367\, Acc – 89-664-4465 using your name as a reference \n2. Email a copy of your payment recipit to – coach@warriorperformance.com.au \n3. In that email – in the subject bar put the event title ie; Novice February Comp \n4. in the body of the email list your – Name\, Age\, Gender & Bodyweight. \n  \n  \nRULES – We will have a lifters briefing 1hr before lifting starts\, we will be following the GPC rulebook for lifting commands. \nSquat – Ref will give a start command once you have un-racked the weight and are steady. Squat down till hip crease is below the knee\, stand up fully erect and steady. Wait for the ref to give a rack command to return the bar to the rack. \nBench Press – Ref will give a start command once you have un-racked the bar and the weight is steady. Lower bar down till it touches your chest. Bar must be stationary on the chest\, ref will give a press command. Press the bar back up until your elbows are locked out. Keep it steady and wait for the ref to give the rack command to return the bar to the rack. \nDeadlift – Start when your ready. Lift the bar up till knees\, hips and shoulders are locked out. You will get a down command from the ref.
